Premise: Late-night comedy and talk with a sharply irreverent host who has at least 10 reasons why pets perform stupid tricks and, no doubt, just as many as to why Jay Leno regularly beats him in the ratings. (His wide lead over Leno in Emmys might offer consolation.) Dave also roams the neighborhood surrounding New York's Ed Sullivan Theater, where the show is taped.
