MTV has given an eight-episode order to an hour-long reality competition series from producer Donald Trump and based on the hit U.K. show Ladette to Lady, says Variety. The U.S. version will send 15 presumably rough-around-the-edges lasses to a boarding-school environment where they'll be taught self-improvement and empowerment techniques. When faced with a series of (of course) challenges, those who fall short will be "expelled." Casting/cold-calling-Lindsay Lohan is already under way.

The Donald and Fox are developing Lady or a Tramp, a U.S. adaptation of a U.K. series (Ladette to Lady) in which hard-partying gals are sent to a charm school to learn them some debutante-caliber manners. According to Variety, in addition to exec-producing the series, Trump may also appear on camera to assess the bad girls' respective reformations.
