Mega Buzz on Battlestar, Grey's, CSI, Dollhouse, 24 & More

Eric Dane (Grey's Anatomy), Marg Helgenberger (CSI) and Mary McDonnell (Battlestar Galactica)

Every week, senior editors Matt Mitovich, Mickey O'Connor and Tim Molloy satisfy your need for TV scoop. Send all questions to mega_scoop@tvguide.com.

Who at TVGuide.com attended the Battlestar Galactica press screening on Monday night? And what's the frakkin' word? — Danny
MICKEY: I am in Florida, exploring an unfamiliar civilization of a different sort (the retirement community), so we sent TVGuide.com Nerd High Priestess Erin Fox. Once Doc Cottle revived her with smelling salts, she said this: "The first hour-and-a-half of the finale is so intense, you'll find it difficult to breathe. So many questions will be answered — including some you probably thought wouldn't be addressed due to time constraints. Also, if Mary McDonnell isn't recognized by the Emmys this year, it'll be a frakkin' shame. She had the crowd in tears more than once with her brilliant performance." Erin then hugged her Cylon toaster to her chest, placed a paper bag over her mouth and nose and breathed gently until it was safe to stand again. (P.S. Share your favorite BSG moments here.)

The best part of Grey's Anatomy for me this season has been the sexy pairing of Lexie and Mark. What's ahead for the sizzling duo? — Kelly
MATT: More sexy. More pairing. More ... read more

Senior editors Matt Mitovich, Mickey O'Connor and Tim Molloy answer your questions. Drop us a line at mega_scoop@tvguide.com.

Give us something good about NCIS, pretty please? — Gina
MATT: Remember how last week's Mega Minute scooped the imminent return of Trent Kort, the spook to whom Gibbs owes a solid? That same episode will guest-star Christian Clemenson (of Boston Legal fame) as the accountant for a criminal the team is chasing. Also on the horizon: vampire bites! (I thought Alex O. was doing Criminal Minds?)

Everybody is talking about CSI: NY's Lindsay/Danny, but is there any thing about Stella/Mac? — Hilla
TIM: I'm going to pass this off to executive producer Peter Lenkov, who says the last four episodes of the season are ... read more

ABC Family Cuts Kyle, Renews Greek and Lincoln Heights, Orders Three New Shows

Matt Dallas, Kyle XY

Please cover your belly button with your hand and join me in a moment of silence for Kyle XY.

As one in a flurry of scheduling decisions, ABC Family has decided to cut the cord on Kyle XY after this, its recently premiered third season.

The news is better for Greek and Lincoln Heights, which were picked up for third and fourth seasons, respectively, says the Hollywood Reporter. Greek resumes its sophomore run on March 30.

To fill (and then some) the void that will be left by Kyle XY, ABC Family gave 10-episode orders to three new series ... read more

Mega Buzz on Ghost Whisperer, Battlestar, Criminal Minds & More!

Jennifer Love Hewitt (Ghost Whisperer), Katee Sackhoff (Battlestar Galactica) and Shemar Moore (Criminal Minds)

Senior editors Matt Mitovich and Mickey O'Connor answer your questions.

All I want to know is the bottom line when it comes to Ghost Whisperer's Jim dying. Will he ever be brought back to life (his life), or is his only involvement going to be in the body of Sam? — Kathy
MATT: It's simple, really: Jim is now going by "Sam," but Sam is mostly Jim. "Since it's Jim's soul [inside Sam's body], we will always be seeing David [Conrad] at Melinda's side," exec producer P.K. Simonds tells me, dismissing rumors that Conrad is leaving the show. Much of the story to come involves Sam (who to everyone else looks like Jericho's Kenneth Mitchell) realizing that he has this new life inside of him. As Conrad explained it to me, "It's the whole question of how ... read more

Mega Buzz on DWTS, Brothers & Sisters, Friday Night Lights & More!

Tom Bergeron, Dave Annable, Taylor Kitsch

Senior editors Matt Webb Mitovich and Mickey O'Connor answer your questions.

On Dancing with the Stars, are the celebrities paid for participating in the show? Are the pros? Do either get paid more the further they advance in the competition? — Barb

Mickey: Barb, how dare you taint the pleasure that is Dancing with the Stars by suggesting that it's a commercial enterprise! Obviously, the celebrities' only motivation is their sincere love of the dance… and publicity. Also: Yes, they are totally paid! A source close to the production tells me that both the pros and celebs receive a weekly stipend. (Aside: Celebs are paid several times what the pros get. Discuss.) The catch: Once you're eliminated, the paydays cease. Harsh, right?

I am absolutely in love with Justin and Rebecca as a couple this season on Brothers & Sisters. How much trouble will Holly and Ryan be for them this season? — Kelly

Matt: Ryan? Not so much, as he won't even surface until midseason at soonest. As for Holly ... read more

Mega Buzz on Prison Break, Mad Men, Miami & More!

Wentworth Miller by Michael Lavine/Fox, Elisabeth Moss courtesy AMC and Adam Rodriguez by Robert Voets/CBS

Senior editors Matt Mitovich and Mickey O'Connor answer your questions! E-mail us your own scoopy needs. Is it true that Prison Break's Michael is losing the tattoo? I felt so bad for Wentworth stuck in long-sleeved shirts in the Dallas sun! — ChristineMatt: 'Tis true. As you'll see on Monday night, Scofield books a (truly grueling) date with a dermatologist so as to better safeguard his identity as well as afford him greater wardrobe options (including shirtlessness, the ladyfolk hope). "It was a laborious process putting that [fake tattoo] on," says a relieved Wentworth Miller. "I am looking forward to rolling my sleeves up!" (FYI: I'm one-and-a-half episodes into the new season, and he has yet to do that. Patience!)Is Mad Men planning a Thorn Birds scenario between Peggy and Father Gill? Also, to whom do you think Don sent that book in the first episode? (My guess: Rachel.) — DarcyMickey: While it's clear that the burgeoning friendship between Peggy and the padre has bec... read more
