Premise: Tom Selleck stars as New England police chief Jesse Stone in this strong whodunit about the murder of a troubled 14-year-old prep-school girl found floating in a local lake. The investigation reveals the girl was pregnant and was estranged from her parents, who never reported her missing. This is the third Jesse Stone TV-movie, following “Stone Cold” and “Jesse Stone: Night Passage,” to be adapted from the novels of Robert B. Parker. Dix: William Devane. Molly: Viola Davis.
