The Season 2 curtain opens on the character-driven dramedy about three best buds trying to negotiate the turns, curves and zigzags of middle age. And they are making some progress. A resolute Joe makes it his goal to sharpen his golfing skills, but he can't hack having to practice at dawn. He's also teed off that his new home just happens to be in his former bookie's neighborhood. As for Owen, he moves up to manager of the family auto dealership, but with new responsibility comes new stress.
