Premise: Jackie Thomas is a comedian who becomes especially obnoxious as a sitcom star. Roseanne Barr, who developed the series and was married to series star Tom Arnold at the time, situated his sitcom just after hers on ABC's Tuesday-night lineup, but to no avail.
