Top Videos: Robin Williams Emmy Homage, The Dude Visits Colbert, New Gone Girl Trailer

Billy Crystal

This week, two dearly departed comedians were honored by the TV industry at large: Billy Crystal paid tribute to his friend Robin Williams at the Emmy Awards, and former Saturday Night Live cast member Phil Hartman finally received a star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame (as well as an entire day dedicated to him). Elsewhere, Jeff Bridges — or was it The Dude? — stopped by The Colbert Report, a new trailer for Gone Girl debuted, and a pair of elephants rocked out to violin music. Check out those clips and more in our weekly roundup of the best online videos:

Glenn Howerton on His New Mindy Project Gig and Hitting 100 Episodes of Sunny

Glenn Howerton, Mindy Kaling

As of Wednesday, star-writer- executive producer Glenn Howerton has spent 100 episodes annoying, angering, grossing out — and just downright offending — viewers as Dennis Reynolds on It's Always Sunny in Philadelphia (Wednesdays, 10/9c, FXX). So for his latest trick, Howerton is going very against type to woo Mindy on The Mindy Project. "It's more fun than I could possibly tell you to play somebody who's such an insane sociopath as Dennis. But I really wanted to do something different," Howerton tells TVGuide.com of his arc on the Fox comedy, which kicks off Tuesday (9:30/8:30c). Howerton spoke with TVGuide.com about his on-screen sparks with Mindy, hitting 100 episodes of Sunny and why Season 10 might still be... read more

Top Moments: Richard Simmons Goes Crazy and Oprah's Big Hang-Up

Richard Simmons and Jimmy Kimmel

Our top moments of the week:

11. Best Arrival: Viewers say goodbye to 24/7 soccer coverage and hello to FX's new sister channel, FXX, in appropriate fashion. When FXX officially kicks off at 7 a.m. Monday morning, the reception begins to go out and the game footage interchanges with an image of a black leather couch. Suddenly, the black leather couch begins to move and out from the seams bursts a very hot and a very naked Danny DeVito in a classic It's Always Sunny in Philadelphia clip. Goal!

10. Most Surprising Twist: Mistresses' Karen thinks her nightmare is over after the wrongful-death lawsuit against her is dismissed, but then her medical license gets suspended for six months. Who ratted her out for sleeping with Thomas (not to mention helping him die)? Not Elizabeth, but her... read more

Premise: Seriously dark comedy about four dissolute friends who run a struggling pub in Philadelphia. Dennis, Dee, Mac and Charlie are absolutely (even gleefully) amoral. They're 'Seinfeld' characters on steroids, clowning their way through story lines that 'Seinfeld' writers wouldn't have touched.
