A couple of seasons ago, Dennis and Mac came up with a certain website which seems to have worked out to their financial benefit. Well, to the tune of $2,500. Fortunately, that is a huge sum of money to them and they immediately decide that buying a boat is the most sound, smartest, most reasonable, no, I supposed just the coolest, investment they could make.
Each is in it for their own reasons. Mac, being the adrenaline junkie that he is, is in it for speed. He and Dennis also crave a "P Diddy" style party boat. Charlie is more concerned with the shrimping aspect to owning a boat. He wants enough to equal the loads Forrest Gump would bring in. Dee just wants to take the boat out on the open waters and get loaded.
They end up finding a boat that meets their budget, though you would think it was a bad sign that it is called "The Drowning Sailor." The boat certainly fits the name.
They put Frank and Charlie to work cleaning the outside, while the rest of the gang works internally on décor. Dee, rather immediately, throws on some hip-hop, grabs a bottle of champagne, and attempts to live the dream.
We soon realize that Dennis' secondary goal in this whole mission is to find girls to take out on the open waters where they have nowhere to go. He and Mac take to the docks to find fellow yachtsmen. Apparently they forgot which port they belonged to as the only men around look like the type that will take them out to sea for less than fortunate reasons. One man explains to them that there are "no laws, just us and our tasty treats" which Dennis takes as them having their way with the boys.
Back at the ship, Dee is enjoying her beverages while dancing "like one of those inflatable balloon things at a used car lot" which, in fact, Dennis has actually purchased for her to prove that exact point. She is now dancing next to it and imitating its movements. Hilarious scene!
Dennis and Mac's fears subside when they realize that the "tasty treats" are actually beautiful women and they seem to be in the exact place they were hoping for. They did forget, however, that leaving Frank and Charlie in charge of the boat (or anything, for that matter) is a terrible idea. While attempting to clean out the boat, or destroying everything in sight, Charlie lights the entire thing on fire. Dennis and Mac find this out just as they return with their lady friends. Just one of many of the gang's investments gone down the drain — or harbor, in this case.
