NCIS' David McCallum Goes from U.N.C.L.E. to a C.A.R. Toon

David McCallum as NCIS' Ducky, and The Replacements' C.A.R.T.E.R.

For veteran actor David McCallum, it's been a long, strange trip from The Man from U.N.C.L.E. to playing a car named C.A.R.T.E.R., on Disney Channel's The Replacements (Saturdays at 8 pm/ET). Premise: This mid-'70s version of the H.G. Wells character casts him as a scientist on covert missions for a research company. Should Dr. Daniel Westin land in a jam, he can always simply vanish. It took just half a season for Westin and the series to disappear permanently from the NBC schedule.
