February 20, 2007: That's Not a Real Man, Honey Season 1, Episode 6

I hate to say it, but this wasn't the most exciting episode. (At least it looks like the next one will make up for it.) It was definitely an episode of turnarounds for me, though. Lately, I've been taking issue with a lot of the guys I once really liked, and some of the ones I didn't care for before are looking a lot better. My world's gone upside down! Let's look at the remaining six to help me sort things out: 12-Pack: I used to be this one's biggest fan, but now I'm kind of over him (although seeing him pinching his bangs in front of the mirror was still pretty funny). He so obviously has no interest in New York at all, I feel like he's wasting everyone's time. He's just being weird lately. Why did he pinch his nipples at eliminations? And why was he wearing that Chippendale bow tie? Anyone? Does he want everyone to know he's a stripper? Tango: While I still think Tango's a big wimp with his unidentified shoulder injury that comes and goes, he definitely went up in my book after this episode. He's really the only one who's staying focused on getting to know New York and eventually dating her. A lot of the other contestants (well, VH1 too) just care about having fun being on and winning a reality show. I think this episode was a little too gimmicky. Maybe that's why I didn't like it. Chance: OK, Chance. You were charming enough to get by before, but your tantrums are getting old and are actually pretty bizarre when I think about it. He's like this incredibly overdramatic teenage girl (a lot like New York, actually) in the way he'll have a mood swing, freak out and leave, but then try to get everyone's attention doing something over the top, like threatening to leave the show. Stop being so dramatic and get back to your lovable self. P.S. I can't believe he has a kid! I can't wait for his ex-girlfriend to come by in the next episode to talk about this (assuming VH1 found the baby's mama). Whiteboy: I still love Whiteboy, I suppose. But he didn't do much this episode other than pull a bitch move and tell Chance what Tango said about him. It was very out of character to be such a little instigator like that. I know he hates Tango, but he shouldn't have gotten involved. So, he better step it up soon or he's going to lose my vote. Real: Well, Real's position on the chart hasn't changed that much, but he's definitely No. 1 right now. He has a lot of perspective when it comes to the other guys in the house, so he never lets them upset him. He seems to like New York and he's completely hilarious. And somehow he won over Sister Patterson. Mr. Boston: Hooray! Mr. Boston's gone! At least there was that reward after having to watch his and New York's makeout session. Is he really the best kisser in the house, New York? He looks awful! His face doesn't move, and he keeps his eyes open it's so weird. And does she not see the way he picks his nose at eliminations? (Both hands this episode!) I was definitely surprised when New York eliminated him at this point, though. I'm glad she admitted she could never see herself ending up with him and let him go. It was about time. Well, now I still don't know what to think! I guess I'll have to trust Miss New York to make the right decision. show less
