Neil Patrick Harris Is One Cool Mother

Nope, not gonna mention the kid doc by name for another 700 words or so. But boy, has Neil Patrick Harris accomplished the almost-impossible, creating a character on CBS' hit freshman laffer How I Met Your Mother (Mondays at 8:30 pm/ET) so fresh and different that we almost forget his original TV incarnation. (Of course, that little escapade with Harold & Kumar helped the cause.) Just how much does the actor love creating Barney trouble? Here's what he had to tell TVGuide.com. TVGuide.com: When I interviewed As the World Turns' Terri Colombino née Conn years ago, she mentioned that you were her prom date. What do you remember about that night?Neil Patrick Harris: She's married now? Oh, I remember lots. That was really fun. We had read more

Power-Shifts Rock Commander in Chief

Sure, all the headlines have been about the backstage power-shifts going on at ABC's Commander in Chief (Thursdays at 10 pm/ET), but there's a whopper of an on-screen power grab on the horizon. (Three words: Templeton in charge!) On the way to work yesterday, Natasha Henstridge, who plays the silver fox's chief of staff, Jayne Murray, spoke with TVGuide.com about Chief's never-boring term. TVGuide.com: The fact that you're on your way to the set kind of answers my first question about whether new show-runner Dee Johnson is working you.Natasha Henstr read more

Hannity Uncensored The Fox News anchor defends Stern, King and Bush

Most point-a-finger-in-your-face cable-news hosts wouldn't bother defending a competitor. But after CNN's Larry King took a beating in the press recently for seeming old and out of it, Fox News' Sean Hannity stood up for him on Hannity & Colmes. The conservative Hannity also seems to have a soft spot for Howard Stern (he got the first interview with the shock jock after CBS filed its lawsuit against him) and is no fan of the fine-happy FCC. So the Biz thought it might be an interesting time to check in with Hannity, who cohosts the No. 2-rated show in cable news, and see what's on his mind. TVGuide.com: So what made you feel compelled to support Larry King?Sean Hannity: It was sincere. He was under fire for just about everything — his health, he's frail, he's not doing well. You know what? For better or worse, he still has the consistently highest-rated show on that network. When I saw these attacks and I saw there was no respons read more

Premise: The bawdy lunacy of the radio show hosted by the shock jock and his regular crew of sidekicks. Stern also unveiled a weekly late-night syndicated comedy program in August 1998 called `The Howard Stern Radio Show,' which included original comedy bits in addition to material used on his radio broadcasts. His first TV show originated on WWOR in New York and aired in syndication from 1990 to '92.
