Speaking to reporters after her executive session at the Television Critics Association fall previews, CBS Entertainment Chairman Nina Tassler revealed the final-season plan, which includes a fake gay relationship between Walden (Ashton Kutcher) and Alan (Jon Cryer) — and a new half man (or woman)!

CBS' Fall 2014 Schedule: Big Bang and More Move, Half Men to End, HIMYD Dead

CBS is shaking up its schedule this fall. The Big Bang Theory is moving to Mondays at 8/7c while the network airs NFL Thursday Night Football. But starting on Oct. 30, The Big Bang will return to Thursdays at 8/7c. That same week will also see the series debut of new comedyThe McCarthys and the premiere of Two and a Half Men's final season, which will air Thursdays at 9/8c. 

Other shows moving to new nights are NCIS: Los Angeles, which will head to Mondays at 10/9c, following new drama Scorpion; The Amazing Race, which will shift to Fridays at 8/7c to make way for Tea Leoni's Madam Secretary on Sundays at 8/7c; and CSI, which will relocate to Sundays at 10/9c and split the timeslot with new spin-off CSI: Cyber.

CBS won the bidding war against NBC, ABC and ESPN to broadcast the NFL's Thursday schedule and will begin airing the games September 11 for seven weeks, delaying the launch of the Eye's Thursday lineup. For CEO Les Moonves and CBS Entertainment chairman Nina Tassler, the no-brainer course of action would be to shift monster hit The Big Bang Theory to Mondays during that period to help launch new comedy How I Met Your Dad, then send it back to Thursdays after the Chargers face the Broncos in the final matchup on October 23.
