Season 1 finale: Charlie's son is baptized (with Ryan O'Neal as godfather), and Charlie decides to tell his in-laws about his criminal past. Meanwhile, Billy helps Lisa throw a launch party for her new makeup line. On the guest list: fellow househusbands Charlie, Danny, Darryl and Grant.
Billy takes his daughter on a birthday outing to SeaWorld by himself when Lisa lands a last-minute job on "American Idol Extra." Meanwhile, Charlie finds himself alone at a bar with a very attractive woman.
Grant and Jillian bicker while hosting a dinner party for friends, including Lisa and Billy, who later gives a cooking lesson to a group of Lisa's inebriated friends. Meanwhile, Charlie asks his old friend Ryan O'Neal to be his young son Ryan's godfather; Darryl and Tempestt get tattoos from tattoo artist Zulu; and Danny and Katherine go house hunting (to Danny's dismay). Later, the guys work off some steam at a gun club. Kym and Jerry Douglas have cameos.
A kids-themed episode follows Darryl as he babysits two boys (and plays poker with them) and Katherine and Danny as they babysit a little girl who won't stop crying. Meanwhile, Charlie prepares for his son's first birthday party; Grant and Jillian take a baby CPR course; and Billy and Lisa try to figure out how to tell their girls that Lisa was married before (and that she has been lying about her age).
Five L.A. guys keep house for their high-powered mates in a reality series following ex-Dodger Billy Ashley; actor Darryl M. Bell (partner of Tempestt Bledsoe of "Cosby Show" fame); actor-screenwriter Charlie Mattera (who's married to a psychologist); and aspiring actors Danny Barclay (married to a lawyer) and Grant Reynolds, husband of TV personality Jillian Reynolds. In the opener, Grant displays his parenting skills; Billy helps Darryl work out; and Ryan O'Neal visits his pal Charlie.
