Saturday Night Live
11:29/10:29c NBC
Drew Barrymore takes over hosting chores in the third live episode of the season. Barrymore produced, directed and stars in the freshly released film Whip It (which also stars SNL player Kristen Wiig), about the rough-and-tough realm of female roller-derby players. Barrymore should skate well through the show's topical satire — this is her sixth time performing as host. (Back in 1982, she was the show's youngest host ever, at age 7.) Taking the music stage: singer-songwriter Regina Spektor.

Househusbands of Hollywood
9/8c Fox Reality
The shakiest couple so far seems to be Katherine and Danny — a point reinforced when they go house hunting tonight. And the Grant-Jillian vibes aren't much better at a dinner party you'll be glad you didn't attend. But Darryl and Tempestt seem pleased with each other and their new tattoos, and Billy finesses Lisa's inebriated friends charmingly. And Charlie? His marriage is a mystery (his wife isn't on the show), but he's a proud papa as he bonds with his two favorite Ryans: his son and Ryan O'Neal.

Bill Engvall Show
9/8c TBS
For three seasons now, Bill Engvall's sitcom has been addressing the quirks of married life and family dynamics. Consider it the Engvall Angle. These are nice little perspectives on domestic tug-of-wars, such as the up-and-down battles over lowering the toilet seat. Or shaving a beard, as is the case tonight. It gets hairy in the Pearson household when Susan demands that Bill cut off his post-fishing-trip beard. Bill stands up to her and refuses, which is never a good move for a husband, no doubt. And it'll be a close shave for brainiac Bryan when he takes a cue from Trent and begins tormenting Lauren.
