House Episode Recap: "A Pox on Our House" Season 7, Episode 7

Princeton-Plainsboro goes into lockdown when a girl is suspected of having smallpox. Both House and Martha question the CDC doctor's diagnosis, which forces House to go to extreme measures to prove his theory.

This week's episode starts out by taking us back in time aboard a Dutch slave ship where the captives who are infected with small pox — or any sign of it— are thrown overboard. Flash forward to present day where a couple and their kids go out on a boat trip. The teen girl surfaces after scuba diving and brings up a medicine jar she took from the ship wreck. As she turns to show her family, the jar shatters in her hand and she's bleeding everywhere.

On Monday's episode of House, a sick mother (Dancing with the Stars standout Jennifer Grey) must make a very difficult decision that could affect her health as well as that of her newborn baby. Meanwhile, following Chase's failed attempt at hiring a new female doctor for the team, House delegates the task to Foreman and Taub. In Huddy news, Cuddy asks House to babysit her daughter, Rachel, which results in quite the parenting lesson for both he and Wilson.
