Ratings: Did a Monday Night Telecast Hurt the Emmys?

The Emmys were held on a Monday night this year for the first time since 1976, but apparently that didn't deter people from tuning in.

Although the telecast was down about 10 percent from last year's show, this year's Seth Meyers-hosted outing was the second-highest rated Emmys of the past eight years. read more

Fox has announced the spring and summer premiere dates for So You Think You Can DanceKitchen Nightmares and more.

The dance competition debuts it's 11th season on Wednesday, May 28 at 8/7c.Gordon Ramsay's Kitchen Nightmares returns Friday, April 11 at 9/8c when it checks back in on Amy's Baking Company. Ramsay's other reality shows, MasterChef andHotel Hell, will premiere Monday, May 19 at 8/7c and Monday, July 21 at 9/8c, respectively.

And although the various businesses have different difficulties, the crux of the problem usually comes down to the owners.
