Fox Sets Finale, Summer Premiere Dates; Bumps Enlisted

Fox has announced the spring and summer premiere dates for So You Think You Can DanceKitchen Nightmares and more.

The dance competition debuts it's 11th season on Wednesday, May 28 at 8/7c.Gordon Ramsay's Kitchen Nightmares returns Friday, April 11 at 9/8c when it checks back in on Amy's Baking Company. Ramsay's other reality shows, MasterChef andHotel Hell, will premiere Monday, May 19 at 8/7c and Monday, July 21 at 9/8c, respectively.

Summer TV's Hits & Misses

It was a summer that won't be remembered fondly, at least by the broadcast networks. Despite a flurry of new shows, from CBS' Dogs in the City to ABC's Glass House, there wasn't much to crow about — at least until NBC's Summer Olympics ratings juggernaut came along. Cable fared better, launching new hits like A&E's Longmire and TNT's Perception and opening events like History's Hatfields & McCoys to big numbers. After a very successful debut, Fox has ordered a second season of Hotel Hell.

"The response to Hotel Hell has been truly extraordinary, and we're really excited to have the opportunity to turn around many more hotels in dire need of intervention," said star Gordon Ramsay.

On Gordon Ramsay's new Fox series Hotel Hell (premiering Monday, 8/7c, Fox), the famed chef and restaurateur turns his attention to struggling hotels, motels and bed & breakfasts. And although the various businesses have different difficulties, the crux of the problem usually comes down to the owners. "Because they've got the money, they think that they've got the right to dictate what they should be serving to the public because they've bought the place," Ramsay told reporters on a call.
