Betty White, Denis O'Hare
Television was a place of intrigue this week. Top Chef set the tone with a CIA-themed challenge. Bachelor Pad showed us a classic double-cross. Ari fell victim to a well-executed bluff on Entourage. The Jersey Shore girls tried their hand at skullduggery. Hot in Cleveland threw Elka in the slammer for her covert ops. And True Blood revealed a madman's plan for world domination. Welcome to Top Moments: Cloak and Dagger Edition.

Hot in Cleveland
10/9c TV Land
With impressive ratings, a slew of notable guest stars and Hollywood's current octogenarian "it girl," Betty White, leading the way, this sitcom took TV land by storm, and earned a second-season renewal (of 20 episodes) barely halfway through its first. Speaking of storms, tonight's Season 1 finale cooks up a doozy as a tornado churns through Ohio, and Melanie, Joy and Victoria are thunderstruck when the only safe shelter they can find is Elka's secret room in the cellar.

Work of Art: The Next Great Artist
After presenting a nine-week odyssey of artistic tasks and tests, the arty competition series' first season draws to a close. In this inaugural year, the up-and-coming Picasso wannabes created aesthetic craft from garbage, book-cover art, shocking canvasses, a sweeping outdoor installation piece and, last week, they framed nature-based work. It all climaxes when the finalists present their solo collections at a gala opening, to be followed by the naming of a winner.

Huge (Monday, 9/8c, ABC Family)
In this episode, set on "movie night" at Camp Victory, Nikki Blonsky sings. (As any fan of the movie Hairspray knew she ultimately would — although some probably expected it to happen in the talent-show episode.) As the summer crushes escalate in this diverting series, Will (Blonsky) channels her jealousy over Ian's crush on Hayley into writing a love song. Will it be music to the campers' ears?
Joe Jonas hopes to take his music-to-acting transition one step further by playing... a murderer? The 20-year-old tells TVGuide.com he's always been intrigued by CSI-type shows and would love to go much darker than his fans expect of him. Jonas tells us which show he'd love to appear on and a few surprises about this summer's Jonas Brothers world tour. In the meantime, catch Jonas on TV Land's Hot in Cleveland and in the Disney Channel original movie Camp Rock 2, which debuts in September.

Season 5 of the sunny summer series rolls on, as do the live performance showcases featuring disparate acts vying for top-talent honors and a cool $1 million prize. Last night, 12 more acts from the Top 48 took the stage, and now their offbeat skills will be rated in the season's second results installment. Four victorious acts will advance and join last week's winners in the longed-for Top 24. Meanwhile, the innovative theatrical collective Cirque du Soleil performs a routine from the show Kà, and it's full steam ahead for the rock band Train when they deliver the song "Hey, Soul Sister." — Dean Maurer
