A profile of New Yorker Jack Beers (1910-2009), filmed when Beers, a fitness buff once known as "New York City's Strongest Boy," was 94 and still able to ride three miles a day on a stationary bike and rip a telephone book into four pieces. Beers was also a construction worker (the Empire State Building and Radio City Music Hall), a dog trainer and an actor, and he worked on the Manhattan Project during World War II. He was, says his doctor, "a most unique human being."
