Mr. Bell goes to Washington to fill his ailing father's House seat in this drama, which was recalled after only eight episodes. The idealistic Bell had a tendency to get personally involved in his constituents' problems, and to sometimes buck the party line. The series was from Stephen J. Cannell Productions.
