High Society on CBS

1995, TV Show

`AbFab'-like escapism (minus that show's high style) about Manhattan novelist Ellie Walker and her publisher---and drinking buddy---Dorothy Emerson, whose son Brendan is, infuriatingly, too much a Republican for Ellie's tastes. Not so much, however, that Ellie doesn't also have the hots for him. The theme song, Chaka Khan's take on `The Lady Is a Tramp,' sets the scene.
Jules claims that the show has edited her to look bad. Watch the unaired clips and decide for yourself.
