The title of this week's pivotal episode of FX's Justified (Tuesday, 10/9c), "Get Drew," may evoke memories of an Elmore Leonard classic (Get Shorty), but Justified is a modern classic in its own right, honoring Leonard's spirit with wit and suspenseful grit and twisty plotting that just won't let up. That's especially true after last week's revelation of the identity of the long-missing and much-sought-after Drew Thompson, who sets off a multi-faceted manhunt.

With all of host-mentor Chef Gordon Ramsay's bellowing, the undercooked proteins and overdone egos apparent on the show, many a filmed dinner service has ended in tears or has been shut down well before all courses have been served. Imagine my relief (and satiation) that this was not necessarily the case when I recently had the privilege to dine at Hell's Kitchen itself.
Check out what other preconceived notions I had and how they played out through dinner service:

The Season 3 premiere of The Voice easily topped Monday, but also posted the series' lowest-rated premiere ever.
The two-hour telecast, the show's first in the fall, was predictably down from its Super Bowl-boosted Season 2 premiere, averaging 12 million viewers and a 4.1 in the adults 18-to-49 demographic — dropping 39 percent and 25 percent, respectively. The episode also took a 15 percent dip from last season's Monday night ...
