Question: I just read that CBS plans to bring back an updated version of Hawaii Five-O with McGarrett's son, Chris, as the boss. I would like to see the series return, but I don't like the idea of having McGarrett's son as the head of Five-O. Unless I had missed something, Steve didn't have any children. Ed Bernero is already messing up introducing this new character. On the other hand, Chin Ho Kelly had a bunch of kids and it would make sense if one of them headed Five-O. I hope they don't mess up a classic!
Answer: As long as they don't mess with the classic Morton Stevens theme song, I can probably live with it. And yes, they'd be crazy if at least one of Chin Ho's offspring weren't on the force as well. Oh man, has it been a good month for TV shows on DVD or what? Honestly, between the Olympics and the pile of new sets that have streeted in the past few weeks, Ive barely seen regular TV since before Michael Phelps took his first dip.
