Premise: Don't expect the Fonz. This `Happy Days' is a nostalgia-tinged 1970 summer variety series that paid homage to the comedy and big-band sounds of the 1930s and '40s, with skits (featuring Bob and Ray), music numbers and appearances by old-time Hollywood stars like Charles Laughton, Edward G. Robinson and George Raft.
