Grey's Anatomy Recap: "I Was Made for Lovin' You" Season 9, Episode 7

This week's Grey's Anatomy featured all three life-changing events — and multiple ones for some people. The hour featured Arizona's return to Seattle Grace, though it wasn't as triumphant as she probably had hoped. But Meredith had her own triumph and it has to do with one of the aforementioned topics. Which? Check out this week's top moments from the episode to find out!

Arizona's first day back: It's stressful all around during Arizona's first day back, with Alex bribing child patients not to mention her prosthetic leg, and Callie having Arizona followed around with a wheelchair just in case the cane isn't sufficient. Unfortunately, Arizona isn't able to keep up with the fast pace and long hours of standing during surgery, finally falling to the ground after a particularly long procedure. Though Alex kicks everyone out and rushes to her side, Arizona laughs it off like only she can.

Baby troubles: April, the former Virgin Mary, is now worried she may be pregnant and cries to Meredith that this is not part of her plan. As a result, Jackson — willingly, mind you — says they will get married. But when April's pregnancy test comes back negative, she's beyond relieved — actually a little too relieved. She tries to play it off like she's happy that they can just keep dating instead of getting hitched, but the damage is already done, and Jackson dumps her.

Derek's hand: After Callie continues to struggle with a surgery plan for Derek's hand, she finally breaks down and just asks Derek for help. Though he's been resistant to every idea she's suggested, he decides they'll go at this as a team to find the best plan of action.

Bailey's wedding blues: Bailey frets about getting married again, not wanting to make a big deal out of the wedding, which is turning into a Christmas affair. After some sound advice from Cristina (of all people!), Bailey decides not to sweat the little things and just go with whatever Ben wants. The question remains if she'll be able to keep up that attitude and actually make it down the aisle.

Owen's cold shoulder: Owen continues to freeze Cristina out, finally telling his estranged wife that every time they try to make a go of it, they always hurt each other because they want different things and nothing has changed. Cristina, who has continued to be a great teacher, realizes that she has actually changed and wants Owen back. But that's not going to work. During his preparation for the plane crash case, Owen realizes that the hospital is only backing him because they know a judge will throw out the case considering there's a huge conflict of interest having the Chief of Surgery married to one of the plaintiffs. This is why Owen asks Cristina for a divorce — and this is the only time a divorce actually means he does still care about her, he just can't tell her the truth because of the confidentiality agreement.

Meredith's a mommy — again! After giving a speech to April about plans changing when it comes to children, it turns out Meredith is actually pregnant. She's only three weeks along — and she has that hostile uterus — but Zola may have a little sister or brother soon! And surprisingly, the once dark and twisty doc seems very happy about it.

Do you think Owen still loves Cristina? Are you excited Meredith is pregnant? Hit the comments!
