Grey's Anatomy Recap: "Second Opinion" Season 9, Episode 6

Move over, Meredith: There's a new head b---- at Seattle Grace.

Cristina Yang has returned! But she wasn't the only one to step foot back at Seattle Grace on Thursday's episode of Grey's Anatomy. Thanks to Bailey, Arizona took new strides in returning to work (all these puns are NOT intended). But it's the shocking truth behind the lawsuit that will leave fans wondering whether Owen — despite not actually being on the plane — is, in fact, the seventh victim of the plane crash. Check out our burning questions below to see what we mean:

Will Arizona finally come back to work at the hospital?
Since Arizona has refused to be around people until she can walk perfectly on her prosthetic, Bailey decides to enlist Arizona's help with a case over the phone. Bailey purposefully says she sent over a chart to get Arizona to walk to her door. In truth, Bailey never gave her the chart at all, it was all to pique her curiosity so she'd come into the hospital, which she does. That's one small step... nope, not going to go there.

 Will Derek ever operate again?
After the lawyers push Callie to say Derek will never be able to operate again, Callie and Derek clash over the fact that Derek pushed them not to settle in the first place — just like he pushed her to do the surgery on his hand. Callie decides to recant her statement, saying there are still procedures they can try to fix his hand.

Can Jo be the first intern to get fired?
After spending an episode constantly being thrown up on, Jo helps diagnose cyclic vomiting syndrome — a personal story line for the episode's director Chandra Wilson. But even when Jo tries to stand up for herself to Alex, she just sounds whiny and preachy. We're over it.

Will Jackson and April finally get into a relationship?
Every time they have sex, she regrets it immediately afterward, likening it to a car crash you can't stop. April gets around to apologizing after Jackson admits their relationship isn't just about sex. Aww, he cares for her! OK, we're rooting for them now.

How soon until Cristina becomes the head of cardio?
Now that Cristina is back at the hospital, she's disheartened to find that Meredith is the new Nazi and quickly rectifies that. What's worse is that instead of having a new mentor in the new head of cardio, he just lets her have free rein over his department. Sure, that would normally be great for Cristina, but it seems like she wants someone to work with. She decides to become a great teacher to the interns and even makes it fun in the OR. (Always loved Cristina, but love her even more now.)

Can Cristina and Owen ever reconcile?
Now that Cristina is back at the hospital, she and Owen aren't necessarily on speaking terms. In fact, he screams at her for taking over Dr. Russell's case. But when Russell turns out to not be upset, Owen just walks out. Can they ever be normal again?

Are Alex and Cristina the new odd couple?
After pleading to buy Meredith's house, Alex pushes her to fix all of its problems, which happen to be the very quirks that make it the Grey home. He agrees not to make any changes — though he does go back on one thing: After vowing not to allow roommates, he lets Cristina move in. She couldn't stand being in the firehouse anymore. Sad face. New BFFs?

Will Webber be Jackson's new daddy?
It's nice to see Richard find love with Catherine — despite inadvertently sending inappropriate e-mails through Jackson. Even though Jackson acts upset about the whole thing, Webber calls him out, noting that Jackson did make sure they were getting each other's e-mails. Just don't call him "son," Webber!

How will the lawsuit shake out?
It turns out, the large sum the surviving passengers would receive would not just be from the airline, but also from Seattle Grace, the hospital responsible for putting them on that plane in the first place. Looks like Owen won't come out of the plane crash unscathed either.
