Episode Recap: Brothers and Sisters Season 2, Episode 1

Hope you all enjoyed Spring Break because the party's over and school is back in session. But who has time to think about class when it's Greek Week? As reigning champs, ZBZ (specifically Casey) is determined not to give up the title. Kappa Tau isn't messing around either - that cheer routine shows that KT is taking Greek Week very seriously. Unfortunately things aren't so carefree for Rebecca - her Spring Break errr performance has made it onto the Web. (Watch out for cameras, kids. You never what will make it onto Youtube!) Rebecca gets called to standards but Casey cuts her some slack and advises her Little Sis to "lay low." Unfortunately, Rebecca takes this to mean "Go jump into a fountain with another pledge." I have a hunch that's not what Casey had in mind. Rusty and Calvin's matching Switzerland flags set the tone for the week. However, plans to watch movies are complicated by ultra-competitive frat brothers. I'm sure that it was Dale's removal of the Confederate flag from his wall that inspired Rusty to grow a pair and stand up to Cappie for once.Frannie is sucking up to Casey hardcore to cover up the fact that she totally hooked up with Evan over Spring Break - and is still secretly hooking up with him (Oh snap)! The competition gets intense when Omega Chi steals Kappa Tau's cheer,Bring it On style (Oh no they didn't!) and when catty sorority girls give Rebecca a hard time about her dad. Though it was well deserved, Rebecca tackling a rival sorority girl is the last straw for Casey who tells Rebecca to pack her bags. Just when Casey has a change of heart, national ZBZ rep Tegan shows up (In case you forgot, she's the one who made Casey prez after the whole Jen K. debacle) with stellar-looking hair and kind of a snotty attitude. Despite a sincere speech from Casey and even Ashleigh, Rebecca storms out of the house.I guess Casey's words stayed with Rebecca because she came back in time to see all of her sisters stand by her (Awwww) and see her sorority win the Greek Week trophy once more. But before you think the season is starting on a happy note, Casey sees Frannie and Evan kissing (Oops, Frannie never got to have the chat with Casey)! I guess those sisterhood bonds Rebecca told Cappie about aren't so strong after all - Who's proud of Casey? Who still wants to see more of Dale (especially after the cheerleading)? Also, who's getting really put off by Evan's attitude? Sneaking around with Frannie, making fun of Rebecca, cheating to win - I thought he hit an all time low when he bribed a guy to stay away from Casey. So Casey risks her presidency for Rebecca while Frannie totally betrays Casey. Calvin and Rusty challenge the existing feud between their houses and Beaver really knows how to shake it in a miniskirt - looks like the start of a great second season to me! show less
