Bernstein conducts the New York Philharmonic in Tchaikovsky's Symphony No. 4 in F Minor and the "Andante Cantabile." Completed in 1878, the Symphony alternates between moods of melancholy and joy. The "Andante Cantabile," built around a folk song, is from the composer's Quartet in D Major.
