"Rubinstein at 90," a portrait of Arthur Rubinstein in recital and in conversation. Filmed in a 1975 concert with conductor Andre Previn and the London Symphony, Rubinstein performs Grieg's Concerto in A Minor and Saint-Saens' Concerto No. 2 in G Minor. Interspersed is Robert MacNeil's 1976 interview with Rubinstein, who comments on his reputation as an artist; the emotional intensity of his performances; his religious beliefs; avant-garde music; and composers he has known.
