Disney Channel will air the British pre-teen supernatural series Wolfblood in October as part of its month-long "Monstober" schedule of Halloween-themed favorites.
Wolfblood centers on 14-year-old Maddy (Aimee Kelly), who has a secret: She's a "wolfblood." These creatures — neither wolf nor human — possess extraordinary strength, super speed and heightened senses.
Disney Channel will air the entire first season of Wolfblood on Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday nights at 8/7c from Oct. 1 through Oct. 24. In the premiere, Maddy discovers that the new boy at school, Rhydian (Bobby Lockwood), also shares her secret.
Grunkle Stan, Dipper and Mabel Pines will be back to explore the mysterious world of Gravity Falls for a second season. Disney Channel has renewed the hit animated series, created by young animator Alex Hirsch.
Gravity Falls — a mix of Twin Peaks, The X-Files, Lost and the animated feature Monster House, wrapped in a comedic, irreverent bow — features the voices of Hirsch, Jason Ritter, Kristen Schaal and Linda Cardellini.
Don't come between a little girl and her pet pig. On the next episode of Disney Channel's quirky animated comedy Gravity Falls, Mabel (Kristen Schaal) enlists her brother Dipper (Jason Ritter) and Grunkle Stan (series creator Alex Hirsch) to help find her pig Waddles, who has gone missing.
Turns out a mysterious prehistoric creature is terrorizing Gravity Falls, and is at the heart of Waddles' disappearance. In the episode, "Land Before Swine," the group discovers a secret deep inside a "Jurassic-y cave" as they work to save Waddles.

Among the big Disney Channel events being showcased are Phineas and Ferb: Mission Marvel, a summer special in which the boys meet the superheroes of (Disney-owned) Marvel Comics; Teen Beach Movie, a live-action musical airing July 19; and Wander Over Yonder, the upcoming animated series from The Powerpuff Girls creator Craig McCracken and starring 30 Rock alum Jack McBrayer (both of whom will be in attendance).
