The get-rich-quick schemes of two lifelong friends, a cabbie and a diner owner. This is where Gilligan (Bob Denver as the cabdriver) landed when he finally got off the island, only this time Herb Edelman played Skipper to his Little Buddy. The real `Gilligan's Island' Skipper, Alan Hale Jr., costarred during the second season, and fellow castaway Jim Backus occasionally appeared as Edelman's father-in-law.
