Dr. Choi and Lee Minu finally go on the helicopter to rescue a patient. The Interns are applying for residency, and trying to choose which department to go into.

They have a meeting with the National Emergency Management Agency regarding the water-bomber helicopters. Minu takes care of the children from Yang San.

Minu and Jaein find the patient and brings her back to the hospital to perform surgery on her. Jaein's grandmother tries to send Sunu away to a different hospital.

Dr. Choi decides to resign. They try to do everything to save a boy that got into the traffic accident.

Jaein finds out about Sunu's other girlfriend as he gets into a paragliding accident. Dr Choi is barred from surgeries.

The interns successfully finish their first surgery with Dr. Choi. Jaeun finds Sunu in the ER and panics.

Minu and Jaein take on their first successful transfer as interns. The professor faces a problem with the surgery he just performed and a conflict arises.

Minu and Jaein meet for the first time at Sunu's house. One of the patients die of respiratory failure due to ventricular septal defect and Minu doesn't know how to handle the trauma.
