Premise: A subtle and complex six-part adaptation of Henry James' 1904 novel about an unusual love affair between an Italian prince and his former fiancée. The complications: He's getting married, while she finds herself pursued by the bride's father. Originally a BBC serial, it first aired in the U.S. on PBS's `Masterpiece Theatre.'
