Archie Bunker's daughter, Gloria, tries to rear her 8-year-old son without the Meathead (he left the family to live in a commune) in an unsuccessful `All in the Family' spin-off. Gloria takes a job as an assistant to a veterinarian in an Upstate New York animal clinic.
