Glee Episode Recap: "Sectionals"

In the midseason finale of Glee, the club heads for sectionals. However, Quinn's baby daddy drama may tear the club apart, hindering them in the competition. Meanwhile, Emma and Ken's wedding is coming, and Will makes a decision that may change his life.

While the club waits to find out who their sectionals coach will be, Rachel ponders why Puck rushed to Quinn's aid the day before when she slipped at rehearsal. Everyone else in glee is clued in to the baby daddy drama, sans Rachel, and, of course, Finn, but they're not giving up any info. Rachel claims to be psychic and thinks there's definitely something up.

Kurt, Mercedes, Tina and Artie then go into action mode. They need to make sure that Rachel doesn't find out about Puck being the father because she'll immediately tell Finn and ruin any chance they have of winning sectionals. The fab four blame the cheerios in the bunch, since Santana is "dating" Puck. "Sex is not dating," she retorts. "If it were, Santana and I would be dating," says Brittany. That's a hilarious and interesting development for another time.

The heat turns up to the highest levels in the conclusion of the two-part Season 6 finale. In last week's cook-off for wine connoisseurs in Napa Valley, Jennifer created the feast with the least and was eliminated. That leaves our Final 3 maestros of meals — talented fan favorite Kevin Gillespie and the head-butting Voltaggio brothers, Bryan and cocksure Michael. It'll be the real meal deal when they plate up their final culinary creations, after which one of them will be crowned the winner.
