Glee Episode Recap: "Sexy" Season 2, Episode 15

In this week's episode of Glee, Holly Holliday (Gwyneth Paltrow) returns to teach sex ed and help Will educate the glee clubbers on the facts of life. Meanwhile, Emma takes charge of the Celibacy Club. Plus: Dr. Carl (John Stamos) returns!

The episode opens on a meeting of the Celibacy Club, which consists of two members: Rachel and Quinn. In the previous meeting, Rachel apparently quizzed Quinn on the nature of her relationship with Finn, but she declined to give up that info. Emma suggests they wear lock necklaces, with no key, so no one will ever be able to unlock them. Also, it turns out Emma hasn't consummated her own marriage with Dr. Carl.

Emma is disappointed that the chastity charms didn't catch on. The students were, instead, wearing them as clip-on nipple rings. As Will says he wants to spread the word of sexual education, Holly Holliday returns, announcing that she's subbing for the sex ed teacher. However, she doesn't believe in the abstinence route, which really upsets Emma.

Elsewhere, Santana asks Brittany to have a cuddle night, but the latter thinks she has a bun in the oven. The news quickly spreads to Artie and the glee club, who question her at rehearsal. Brittany says she doesn't need to see a doctor, because a stork has built a nest outside her window and will soon deliver her a baby. Realizing his students don't know enough information about sex, Will asks Holly to help.

Will announces that the club will be working on sexual education as well as rehearsing for Regionals. Enter Holly, who sings "Do You Wanna Touch Me (Oh Yeah)," by Joan Jett, while dancing provocatively. The club joins in on the inappropriate fun, which pretty much does the opposite of what she wanted to accomplish. After the song, she reminds the group that every time they have sex with someone, they're having sex with everyone that person had sex with, too.

Sue runs into Kurt and Blaine, and passes on the info that New Directions is upping their sex appeal, "and the key to Regionals is out-sexing them." Sue expects information in return, but Kurt doesn't bite. Blaine, however, wants the Warblers to get sexy, so they perform Neon Trees' "Animal" for a female academy so they can test the waters. Though the girls are digging it, it's really not that sexy. Blaine even thinks Kurt wasn't sexy, to which he replies that he has no sex appeal.

At a sleepover, Brittany tells Santana that she really likes making out. However, Brittany enjoys talking about her feelings with Artie, and wishes she could do that with Santana, who doesn't feel the same. Brittany wants to talk to an adult about their relationship because it's really confusing for her.

The pair goes to Holly for advice. She begins by asking if either of them think they are a lesbian. Both are unsure since they like both boys and girls. "It's not about who you are attracted to ultimately, it's about who you fall in love with," Holly says. Brittany says she doesn't know how she feels because Santana won't talk about it, so Holly suggests they sing a song to start a dialogue.

Lauren wants to become famous, so she asks Puck to make a sex tape. While they're studying up on other sex tapes, Holly catches them and breaks the news that making a sex tape would make them guilty of child pornography.

Blaine tries to teach Kurt how to be sexy, but he's never had sex, so he doesn't know how. Blaine says he'll tell him about sex, but Kurt declines to learn about it because he just likes the romance of it all. Blaine later approaches Burt on whether he's talked to Kurt about sex. Though Burt is initially hesitant, he has "the talk" with Kurt.

After Will and Holly sing and dance the tango to Prince's "Kiss," the two end up actually kissing. He asks her out, but she says no because she's "damaged goods."

Holly, Santana and Brittany sing "Landslide," from Fleetwood Mac. Santana begins to cry, realizing that she really does like Brittany. "Really cool that our girlfriends are such good friends, right? I wish you and I were that close," Sam says unknowingly. However, Santana makes it known that just because she sang a song with Brittany, doesn't mean you can label her.

Puck has joined the Celibacy Club because he wants to turn his life around after nearly making a sex tape. As an opposite to Holly's forward teaching, Emma sings "Afternoon Delight" with Puck, Quinn, Rachel and Dr. Carl. It kind of hurts to watch it. Holly questions their song choice, but Emma contends that the song is about having dessert in the middle of the day. She definitely misunderstood what a "nooner" is.

Carl and Emma sit down with Holly to seek advice on the fact that they have never had sex. Carl says that he's tried to initiate sex, but every time he does, she just starts giggling like a schoolgirl. Holly point-blank asks Emma if she's still in love with Will, to which she replies that she's still confused about her feelings. He decides to stay at a hotel while she figures things out. Holly promises to keep her lips sealed about her feelings for Will.

Santana thanks Brittany for singing together in glee club because it helped her realize why she's such a mean girl: She's angry because she has all these feelings for Brittany, but she's afraid to deal with the consequences of a same-sex relationship. She admits she loves Brittany and doesn't want to be with those other guys. "Please say you love me back," Santana says, to which Brittany replies she does love her, but she can't break up with Artie. So after putting her heart on the line, Santana is rejected.

Lauren calls Puck a nerd for joining the Celibacy Club, but he says that he's trying to change his bad boy ways. Instead of punching him, she kisses him and joins the club. Santana, Artie and Brittany have also joined the club, but their first order of business includes pointing out Quinn's hickey. She covers by saying she burned herself with a curling iron, but we find out she's still been hooking up with Finn.

While Will goes over the choreography for Regionals, Holly comes to say tell him she's off to another school. After singing with Brittany and Santana, she realized she should open herself up. The episode closes on the pair kissing, despite her little slip that another woman has a crush on him, which went right over Will's head.

Do you like Will and Holly as a couple? Or would you rather see Emma and Will back together? And how sad was it to see a vulnerable side to Santana? Can't she and Brittany just make things work? Discuss your thoughts on the episode in the comments below.
