Premise: Highlights of the 17th annual New York and Los Angeles galas, in which the Gay and Lesbian Alliance Against Defamation honors movies, programs and people that best support the organization's tenets. Nominees include “Brokeback Mountain,” “Capote,” “Transamerica,” “The L Word,” “Six Feet Under,” “Will & Grace,” “The Amazing Race” and “General Hospital.” Special awards go to Melissa Etheridge, Charlize Theron and photographer David LaChapelle. Taped in 2006 in New York and L.A.
