I keep forgetting to mention how much I love
Ghost Whisperer's opening credits and main theme music.
Ghost Whisperer,
Dexter,
Medium,
Masters of Horror and
Battlestar Galactica all have fantastic opening titles that I actually don't forward through each week. The writer of
Ghost Whisperer's main theme is Mark Snow, best known for that creepy and unmistakable
X-Files theme that so many (including yours truly) grew to love and tremble to. It's good to see him continuing the journey of writing spooky yet beautiful music for television.
Did that first paragraph feel like filler? Well, it sort of is... just like this week's
Ghost Whisperer. At least, it sure did seem like filler to me. You know, the episode that they purposely air at the end of sweeps, because they don't need to worry so much about ratings at this point? Yep, that one. Not a teary eye in the house this week. What's a
Ghost Whisperer blogger to do?
Well, let's look at the positives: Jim has not been killed off. As a matter of fact, not even an "omen" to cause any worries. What a relief. Am I the only one who loves seeing Jim in his blue EMT uniform? Wow, he wears blue quite well. So... how 'bout them Bears? Anyone else out there got anything to say about this week's episode? Besides recognizing
Mehcad Brooks from
Desperate Housewives? Anyone? Anyone? Buuuuueller? Buuuueller?
I've got nothin', my wonderful Ghost Whispies. Most of this month's episodes have been really strong, so I guess we were due for a weak one. But hey, Jim's still alive! That's something.
(If I think of anything else blog-worthy from this week, I promise I'll come back to this post.)
