Sweeney Todd

This week is a double-header, with the team starting at Margam Castle in Wales. They meet with Geraint Hopkins, a tour guide at the castle for roughly 20 years. They use his expertise to investigate the most active areas. Another hot spot is Mary's Church, a short walk away from the castle. Their next stop is the 900-year-old Ostrich Inn in England, which served as the inspiration for "Sweeney Todd". Former owners the Jarmans killed over 60 people by getting them drunk, putting them to bed, then dropping them through a trap door in the bed into a vat of boiling oil below. The murders took place in the Blue Room, and Scott Malpass, the current manager, as well as many of his employees, have felt sickening feelings of unease in that room.

The Spirit of Robin Hood

The crew heads to the Galleries of Justice, tucked away in Nottingham, England, a location historically notorious for its 123 documented public executions and undocumented torture of prisoners. The claims there are much more severe and beyond what is typical even by paranormal standards; there have been reports of paranormal physical attacks and even transfiguration, where the face of person is temporary replaced by the face of spirit. Also, Ghost Hunters Academy graduates Karl Pfeiffer and Susan Slaughter officially join the GHI team. Will they be able to survive the jump into the big leagues, and successfully tackle the claims of haunting in the Galleries?

The Legend of Rose Hall

Her cruel and often sadistic ways towards her slaves labeled her as the ?White Witch of Rose Hall.? With underground dungeons, torture chambers and a mansion of hell, Ms. Palmer was known to practice witchcraft and voodoo in the hopes of gaining additional power over her servants and increasing her riches. Rumor has it that she was responsible for the deaths of three husbands and countless number of slaves. Visitors and tourists to Rose Hall have said that they have heard hurried footsteps, crying babies, disembodied voices and music from far ago.

San Lucas Prison

The GHI team ventures to Costa Rica and investigates the San Lucas Penitentiary, an abandoned 19th century prison known as ?The Alcatraz? of Central America. This one time penitentiary was synonymous with cruelty and isolation and was used for over 100 years as a labor camp for young prisoners. The Costa Rican government will make the island accessible to tourists for the first time, but with wild monkeys, boa constrictors, spiders and even crocodiles inhabiting the island, they want to know if there is something supernatural that also lurks on the grounds as well.

Tasmania Death Sentence

Throughout the building, staff and visitors still claim to witness apparitions, disembodies voices, unexplained sounds, green mist and strange things around the noose in gallows.

Port Arthur Penitentiary

GHI investigates the ruins of the Port Arthur Penal Colony in Tasmania, Australia. From 1830-1870, Port Arthur was the place they called "hell on earth," where the convicts of a past era lived and died. With its history of hardship and death, it is no wonder that the grounds and ruins of the Port Arthur convict penitentiary are haunted by multiple apparitions and strange occurrences. Strangers from around the world report shockingly similar claims of seeing the same apparitions. Common claims include jail cells with disembodied screams, empty rocking chairs that move, and strange footprints and glowing mists.

Quarantine Station

The GHI team ventures to Sydney, Australia and visits the Quarantine Station -- named Australia?s most haunted area. Its reputation as a haunted site has been reinforced by numerous accounts of people who faced paranormal experiences in the Station to this day. From 1828 until 1984, migrant ships with passengers carrying infectious diseases were sent to Quarantine. The sick were sent to the hospital; those who had been in close contact with the sick were sent into isolation; and the well were sent to lodgings according to social class. Some stayed a week, others for months. Some reported truly appalling conditions with a sense of misery, wretchedness and disease present everywhere. Visitors today have reported disembodied patients, doctors and nurses. Also, visitors say they are often pushed by people who are not there, even during the middle of the day!

Silver Shadow

Ghost Hunters International makes their way to La Falda, Argentina to uncover the ghostly mysteries of The Eden Hotel, a 19th century luxury resort which once welcomed the rich and the famous including Albert Einstein, the Prince of Wales and many world presidents. The Eden Hotel has had a strange, controversial past. Hotel employees and the municipality say paranormal activity at the hotel includes the apparition of a little girl, quick shadows running, voices whispering, cracking noises and slamming doors and windows. The hotel's current restoration company has complained that workers are scared to death to finish the restoration job. The GHI team then ventures to Junee, Australia to visit the Monte Cristo Homestead. Monte Cristo, meaning 'Mount of Christ', was built in 1884 as a Victorian manor for a wealthy family. Unfortunately the manor has been plagued by many horrific incidents and deaths over the years, and at least seven apparitions have been reported. The current owners moved into the manor in 1963 and had no idea of the tragic history surrounding their home and were not prepared for what was in store for them.

As these ?real-life ghost hunters? try to uncover truth or fiction they?ll soon discover that certain members of their team are about to face some ghostly behavior. Tech Specialist Paul Bradford is touched on his head in the former torture chamber, while Barry spots a shadow that could be the deceased Father Juan. The team will also arrive in the city of Valparaiso to investigate the Santiago Severin Library, where the librarians are hearing noises they can?t "shush" away.
