Meeting violent racism in tough Miami neighborhoods, they decided to clique up and fight back. The gang was hungry for respect and thrived as a criminal organization with a brutal methodology. Zoe Pound orchestrated violent home invasions across the city, and targeted Haitian freighters on the Miami River that were importing illegal shipments of cocaine, beating and torturing the ships' crews. By the late-1990's, Zoe Pound went from being the lowest-of-the-low, to the hardest gang in Miami.
