Teen behavior and attitudes in an affluent suburban-Atlanta county, the site of a syphilis outbreak among high-school students in 1996, are described. The film examines such subjects as sex, drinking and parental supervision (or the lack of it) in interviews with Rockdale County youngsters and parents, as well as school and health officials. “We could do anything we wanted to do,” says one girl. “We never thought about the consequences.”
