The revolving-door experiences of mentally ill inmates are explored through the stories of two paranoid schizophrenics in Ohio, both of whom are released only to be rearrested for alleged offenses committed after they stopped taking their meds. Interviews include Scott Schnyders, a program director at the Refuge of Hope homeless shelter in Canton; psychiatrist Mike Unger; and Debbie Nixon-Hughes, the Ohio Department of Corrections' former mental-health bureau chief.
