Premise: Scatterbrained Irma and levelheaded Jane are roommates at Mrs. O'Reilly's boardinghouse in Manhattan. The sitcom was based on a popular radio show starring Marie Wilson, who also played Irma in a 1949 film that launched Dean Martin and Jerry Lewis, and in a sequel the following year.
