Oh, Grey's Anatomy, you had me at hello... and you lost me at Bailey's OCD.
I've stuck with the show that made Shonda Rhimes a household name through Izzie's (Katherine Heigl) ghost sex, the Alex/Ava saga, "Intern Fight Club," and even that god-awful musical episode. When people ask me why I'm still watching Grey's, currently limping through its 10th season, my response has always been: "I'm going down with that ship." But Season 10 has me on the verge of jumping overboard. Here are six reasons why I'm ready to give up on Grey's:
AMC has ordered two pilots, the network announced Monday.
The first, Knifeman, is set in 18th century London and features a hard-drinking, arrogant yet charming genius named John Tattersal, who works as a surgeon at a time when bloodletting was a common practice.
The second, Galyntine, is a sci-fi/fantasy project that takes place after a cataclysmic disaster has resulted in a society that eschews any form of technology and leaves small groups of survivors scattered around the planet.
Hostages star Toni Collette credits The Brady Bunch with helping her to perfect her American accent.
"Back in Australia we have a lot of American television programs, which is probably why I 'm OK at doing an American accent — I think it's from watching too much TV," Collette tells us in her celebrity Watchlist video. "One of them was The Brady Brunch. Every afternoon after school, "Marsha, Marsha, Marsha."
Parenthood has booked Friday Night Lights alum Jurnee Smollett for a recurring role, TVLine reports.
Smollett will play a smart and feisty woman named Heather whom Kristina (Monica Potter) hires as her campaign manager when she decides to run for office. The arc will reunite Smollett with her FNL producer Jason Katims, as well as Matt Lauria with whom she worked on the show's final two seasons.
Friday Night Lights may be long over but many of the cast reunited at the ATX Television Festival over the weekend in celebration of the beloved show, to spill some fun secrets and share some heartwarming memories from the five seasons.
