Season 1, Episode 7 Alex frets when his ex-wife's successful new boyfriend dazzles his kids -- while Helen takes a new client under her wing.
Alex (Hank Azaria) is recently divorced, and Helen (Kathryn Hahn) lost her fiancé a year ago. Obviously, these two are definitely not ready to be dating again. So naturally, they end up in bed together one night. Oops. And they're coworkers. Double oops. At least they have one thing in common: they both need to get back on the horse again. Despite their little romantic encounter, they decide to just remain friends. The rest of the office tries to get Alex back out there -- but no matter how many douchey shirts they make him buy, he's never going to be a ladies' man. And after a night out, it just takes one drunk-dial for Alex and Helen to end up back in bed together. Looks like this might be the start of something... awkward.
