Prolific actor David Carradine, who died June 3, guest stars as a catatonic patient in this episode of the hospital drama. A famous author-professor (Carradine) and his wife are struck by lightning, killing her and rendering him catatonic. It's up to Jack to bring the author back to reality, and — true to form — Jack devises a risky, unorthodox treatment. Heating things up is the growing physical attraction between Jack and his patient's daughter (Estella Warren).

In this Food Party version of Cinderella Thu deals with an evil stepsister, Bu, and an evil stepmother, as they try and keep her cooped up in the house doing chores. With the help of Deli Llama, Thu is able to leave the house and attend a royal fair where the King falls in love with her. Happy ever after seems inevitable after Thu marries the King but the evil stepmother kills Thu and replaces her with Bu.

Season 2, Episode 17
Thu explores the origin of the donut through a storybook of illustrations. We discover that the moon and the spoon had an epic battle 800,000 years ago that lead to moon rocks scattering the earth, and being used by a baker. These cursed moon rocks, however, created holes in all of the baker's sweet pastries. We join Thu in her kitchen after this animated story where she accidentally eats Pornky meat (Pig + Monkey) and soon we learn the origin of that meat through more illustrations. Thu almost dies due to the disgusting Pornky meat, but is saved by a tonic.
