We pick up right where we left off last week.  It's April 29, 2010 at 8:42 p.m.  Mark Benford sits in jail.  There are 78 minutes left until 10:00 p.m.

Olivia and Charlie walk on the beach as fireworks go off in the distance by the Santa Monica pier. Nicole sits in her apartment and stares at Bryce's sketch of Keiko. She leaves. Keiko is in the airport with her mother, preparing to leave, even though she wants to stay. Bryce arrives at the detention facility to see Keiko and finds out she was released. He explains to the guard that he saw Keiko in his flash-forward, and begs her for information. The guard says that in her flash-forward, she had $100 in her pocket and couldn't figure out where it came from. Bryce reaches for his wallet.

Two days before the global blackout, at NLAP headquarters in Palo Alto, Simon comments to Lloyd about the clothes they wore when they broke ground on the accelerator they are about to test. FlashForward Episode Recap: "Goodbye Yellow Brick Road" Season 1, Episode 17

The yellow brick road the title refers is not the same path Dorothy wandered down. It's actually an FBI training course and we open to Janis and Demetri struggling through the course.

We see Janis at a dark restaurant in her date-night best talking about the course and her new job at the FBI. The woman she's speaking with (attn X-Files fans, Annabeth Gish alert!) is Lita, a head hunter who finds talented people like Janis and offers them "opportunities." Janis laughs coyly and explains she's not looking to quit her new job just yet and Lita says she's just talking about "a little multi-tasking."

First, the main title features a teaser of Mark Bedford running frantically down a corridor lined with pipes.

We open with Demetri in a room, staring down the barrel of a gun, with the laser sight pointed square at his chest. He is strapped to a chair, lined with wires, all connected to the gun. Behind him is a giant map of lines and dashes, pointing in different directions to different dates and people, with some lines connecting back to others. Paths branch off everywhere. We see a photo of Demetri, which reads "March 15, 2010 - Demetri Dies" The date is then shown as March 15, 2010.

FlashForward Episode Recap: "Let No Man Put Asunder" Season 1, Episode 15

After Janis' big reveal at the end of last week's episode (you know, where she, like, told Simon that she is a mole), this episode of FlashForward shows her first day at the bureau two years before the blackout. Considering she's with the late Agent Gough, Marcie and the (maybe) soon-to-be-dead Demetri, this is a very unlucky graduating class, no? read more

FlashForward Episode Recap: "Queen Sacrifice" Season 1, Episode 14

On this week's episode of FlashForward, Mark must figure out who the mole is within the bureau while he deals with big problems at home.

The episode begins with an ending of sorts, at least for the moment. Mark Benford stands in the driveway of his beautiful suburban home as he tearfully says goodbye to his now-estranged wife, Olivia. Ever since the series came back from its long hiatus, it's hard to tell what exactly the timeline is for everything (March 15, April 29, etc.) so it was still fairly startling to see Mark packing his things at this point in the game.
