NCAA Basketball Tournament

This year's long NCAA tournament road ends in Detroit, and after today's championship games in the East and West regionals, two teams will be able to say that they made it to the Final Four. The other pair of participants in next Saturday's semifinals will be determined tomorrow.

Premise: U.S. champion Alissa Czisny and World Junior champ Rachael Flatt are considered possibilities for the podium this evening---but they're not the favorites. With Japan's defending world champ Mao Asada, and South Korea's Yu-Na Kim expected to battle for the gold, the big task for the American skaters may be to secure three spots for the U.S. in next year's Olympics. That would require a combined placement of 13 (for instance, fifth and eighth place finishes).
