In the fourth and final season of FARSCAPE, astronaut John Crichton (Ben Browder) and Aeryn (Claudia Black) end up together while the seeds of an uneasy alliance between Crichton and Scorpius comes to the rescue. Echoes of war begin as the reptilian Scarrans seek the wormhole technology Crichton knows to rule the universe. Featuring the amazing creature effects and puppetry from the Jim Henson Company and a nail-biting series finale, this season sends off one of sci-fi's most innovative shows with a bang.
The journey has never been easy for lost American astronaut John Crichton (Ben Browder), the escaped alien prisoners who are his friends, or their living ship, Moya. And in the third season of FARSCAPE, the ride becomes wilder than ever when powerful issues of love, loyalty, and sacrifice loom large. With strange creatures, bizarre twists, irreverent humor, tragic losses, great loves, and great hopes, this season's story is as broad and weird as the universe itself. Produced in Australia with the incredible talents of Jim Henson's Creature Shop on display, Season 3 of FARSCAPE is like nothing you've seen before!
Astronaut and astrophysicist John Crichton becomes stranded on the other side of the universe when his Farscape module goes through a wormhole. He is taken in by the misfit alien passengers of the sentient ship Moya, a spacecraft that happens to be on the run from the militaristic "Peacekeepers." Unfortunately, while the ship is docked and making repairs, Crichton tangles with a captive Peacekeeper named Aeryn --a beautiful and volatile woman who alerts her captain about the Moya, putting everyone on board in danger.
The second season of FARSCAPE finds John Crichton and the living ship Moya's crew with their hands full and as suspicious of each other as ever. Crichton possesses hidden knowledge that his new nemesis, Scorpious, will stop at nothing to get. Aeryn makes serious emotional revelations, Dargo searches for his prisoner son, and Chiana and Crais form an unlikely bond. Featuring amazing CGI effects, prosthetics, and state-of-the-art puppetry--courtesy of Jim Henson's Creature Shop--and a cliffhanger season finale to boot, this installment firmly establishes FARSCAPE as one of the best sci-fi dramas to hit the small screen.
