Steve Harvey Debuts as Host of Family Feud

Steve Harvey is hoping his comedy chops will be a recipe for success as he takes over hosting duties on Family Feud.

"I bet you there's not a funnier game show on TV," Harvey told The Associated Press. "We've done some pretty incredible stuff so far."

Harvey, who makes his debut as host on Monday, has already taped 100 episodes, according to the AP. The gig will not interfere with his comedy tour and syndicated radio show.

Survey Says... Roker Could Be Ready to Feud

Today weatherman Al Roker could be in line to host an upcoming celebrity edition of Family Feud for NBC. NBC and FremantleMedia North insist no deal has been signed, but Variety reports both sides have been in talks.Today cohost Meredith Vieira already holds down double duty as host of the syndicated Who Wants to Be a Millionaire, and Roker has subbed for Vieira on the show from time to time.He also hosted the quiz show Remember This? on MSNBC in the mid-1990s. — J.R.
